Budget Unit
The Budget Unit is a key decentralized unit of THLDDA responsible for coordinating the planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Assembly's budget and financial performance.
Mandate
Coordinate the planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Assembly's budget, ensuring efficient, effective and compliant utilization of all resources.
Core Activities & Services
- Preparation of the Assembly's Composite Budget and Annual Action Plans.
- Facilitating and supporting revenue mobilization efforts within the District.
- Serving as secretariat to the Budget Committee and Finance Sub-Committee.
- Coordinating stakeholder consultations and town hall meetings on the budget.
- Preparing financial warrants and cash flow projections.
- Monitoring budget performance and providing timely budgetary information to management.
- Coordinating preparation of the Revenue Improvement Action Plan (RIAP).
