About the Assembly

Serving the People of Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira

The Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District is one of the twenty-two administrative districts in the Central Region of Ghana. Established on 28 June 2012, with Twifo Hemang as its district capital.

The District covers approximately 577.4 km² and shares boundaries with Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Cape Coast Metropolitan Area, Wassa East, and Assin South Districts. With a projected 2024 population of 71,433, the Assembly is committed to improving the standard of living of every resident.
